In today's workplace, organizations increasingly are experiencing a diverse community of employees and customers. Having and knowing how to respond to a diverse workforce can enhance an organization's ability to cope with changing workplace dynamics, and expand the creativity of the organization while at the same time facilitating staff retention and productivity. Diversity can give an organization a competitive edge. In this one day Success Series Seminar employees will learn what diversity is and how it influences relationships with others. They learn to differentiate between-and overcome-stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination. They acquire the communication skills they need to build on the advantages that a diverse workplace offers. Our goal is to reach participants both emotionally and intellectually, while helping them uncover their unwitting preconceived notions about other cultures, backgrounds and experiences.
